I'm starting to think about alternatives. The functionality which I'd like to achive is simple: if there are pending changes on the page, I'd like to ask a question: do you want to save: Yes/No/Cancel? Of course, I don't want to fire this question if I'm clicking on the same page.

BTW, this form is not mine. My colleague William is working on it. But I'm trying to help in my best abilities. It's depressing that a simple bug makes this task so compilcated...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
