While I can (grudgingly) live with that in day-to-day discourse, we're talking a technical discipline here, and I find the discipline lacking in discipline (add a :) here). Just like it's bad programming to have ambiguous variable names (or any other names), why would it be good OS and general technology building with the same fault present?

"Dosovci" - that was translated from Serbian. So I wouldn't pronounce it in English at all. One of the niceties of written English is that you can have words distinguished by their spelling, while they may cause all sorts of confusion when spoken.
