Ok, i've worked with the fox now for some 15 years - and still found a new trick - sure everyone also knew that stuff already {g}

drag the dbf file from the windows explorer into the command window - and the fox auto-types and executes:

SELECT 0
USE "c:\MyDragedTable.dbf" AGAIN SHARED
BROWSE LAST

don't you just love the fox?!
