I believe "Ameturish" was a type-o, it should be "Amateurish" even if you're an American. <g>

I personally agree with some of your assertions regarding the video, I included a Scoble scolding myself in my blog entry that mentions the C9 video. Ken has already agreed that he will mention it to Scoble next time they do a video. However, I'm not of the mind that a polished PR-like video would be a good alternative. Sometimes they are all fluff and no content, and even if the content remained it would take more time and effort to produce such a video... which could ultimately lead to less videos. I'd just as soon see them just pump them out one right after the other. But, the camera swings and erratic zooming are definitely distracting, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Robert and Ken would be well served if Robert would just set it down on the tripod and panned/zoomed only when necessary.

On some positive notes, I think that Robert does a good job with the questions and Ken makes the most of the demos... good stuff, and I am already looking forward to the next C9 video they do together on VFP.

>>Although I don't see how it makes VFP look "Ameturish". Does it do such for Windows, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Virtual Earth, Monad, etc, etc? All products that had "quick amature demos" of them on Channel 9.

>Is that how Americans write it: 'Ameturish'? I criticized Ken, because he thought it would be a good idea if also managers would see it. I disagree with that vision.
