I just chuckled when I read that last post......
The liberals claim that media is controlled by conservatives, conservatives claim that the media is controlled by liberals, and those in the middle just try to tally up the numbers. And we are just consumers - anything charismatic or 'cool' or 'good' gets consumed: food (we have a weight problem), charismatic personality (perhaps that is why the Clintons, Michael Jackson, OJ, etc. got scott free and Arnold got elected in CA). Perhaps liberals and conservatives are just not 'consuming a balaced diet' and should be put is a reality diet, but just like a chocoholic, they tend to go bananas over the comfort 'food' they know, not knowing or caring if they are missing something better.


But then I look at hypocracy that goes on in this administration, the war-mongering and poop-slinging against people questioning the agenda (Karl Rove is the devil), and the ability to spin on name of God and Country.... Utter disrespect in many levels to free speech, separation of executive branches, separation of chirch and state, and the freedom to question our leaders. On the other hand I see the good work that this administration has done on, crap can't think of anything else here, other than be able to put our soldiers in harm's way for oil/personal agenda/ego (circle one or all) - perhaps gas prices will go down and I can enjoy my SUV a little bit more without so much guilt.

Do I label myself as liberal or conservative? Well, yes, this view sounds 'liberal,' but in other times and places I have been called a conservative(church goer, conservative rearing for my kids, lived in the South and loved it, local government spending and budgetary issues, etc.), overall I like to be labelled a realist.
