Number and Type of fields in MyTable must match the number and type of fields in OtherTable. But you can always check WHY this not works:
IF sqlexec(nhandle,"insert into mytable select * from othertable") < 1
AERROR(aaa)
DISPLAY MEMO LIKE aaa
ENDIF
