Our standard class to send email via MAPI calls works fine from systems that have had full VFP8 installed on them, on Win2K/XP and Outlook 2000/2003. However the call to CREATEOBJECT("MSMAPI.MAPISession") fails on typical client machines that don't have VFP installed. They run the VFP executable from a network drive - it's not explicitly copied to their local machines.

They're running WinXP and Outlook 2003 (which works fine sending emails to the same destination), and it looks to me like MAPI32.DLL is in where it's supposed to be (HKLM/Software/Clients/Mail/Microsoft Outlook/DllPathEx points to MSMAPI32.DLL, which does actually exist).

I'm assuing that either something gets installed with VFP and/or the way my client has configured Outlook 2003 is the problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks -
