So you need this printer for an application for a special customer? We always give our customers two options, either they buy a laser printer, or we charge them for the customizing. After we tell them the price for the customizing, they ALWAYS end up with a laser printer, and they always tell us afterwards that they are very happy with that choice.
>My Sentiments exactly...
>but the customer is always right.. right ?
>I tried to convince them to go down the A4 route but no dice !!

>>Do you really have to pay for this printer? I dumped a lot of these dot matrix printers a few years ago, nobody was willing to pay for them, I was not even able to give them away for free. It's true!

>>>Hi.
>>>I am about to purchase an OKI ML 280 Dot Matrix Printer and am wondering if anybody here has used this exact model.
>>>
>>>From past experience, I know there can be problems with some of these Dot matrix printers, particularly getting them to form feed to the right size
>>>
>>>The suppliers say that( unlike the other OKI dot matrix printers), there is no setting option on the priner itself to change Form depth, so it has to be done by driver setting (Apparently it uses the IBK Pro Printer driver)
>>>
>>>If anybody has used one of these, I'd appreciate feedback.
