>Well, isn't Excel an entirely other application?! The way the left pane of the vfp-grid behaves is the way it was intended for vfp. Having said that, it is of course your decision to make it behave differently. But the consequence is that it is then also your job to find out how to realize that. As to my/our knowledge, there has not been built in a property to realize what you want. But anything is possible, after extended coding, I guess. Will it be worth the trouble? You tell us. Good luck.
Sure Peter, you're right, but for what i know this kind of forum is exactly to avoid redundant work. Why do you need to break your head to do something that someone, somewhere has done?!
And about "Well, isn't Excel an entirely other application?!" I think Microsoft don't agreed with that, there's a new propertie in VFP9.0 (Fred Taylor kindly apointed me to it) that do exactly what i need: 'LockColumns'
Now there is no need to extend my code.
Thank you anyway for the interest.
Joaquim
