That's one of the downfalls we found with Ent. Lib. - it's definately not for redristribution. You as the developer are the final stop when it comes to Ent. Lib.

Unfortunately, without the Configuration Console it's worthless due to the time it would take to create the xml files - which I've done when I used the application blocks. That blows!

One thing we are doing is re-engineering the modules to fit our "redistribution" needs... In addition to a few other things we don't like we are modifying it heavily.

Time consuming? Definately! But I am learning *a lot*. Especially in the performance arena. Ent. Lib. team made a conscious decision to give up performance in favor of flexibility. The providers are nice but man they are slow to create.
