Within you is evidence that God exists - you just are suppressing that truth (Rom 1:18-20)
To me, it takes more faith to believe that God does not exist. As you say, we are free to believe whatever we wish. However, we all must one day face God and give an account. If we trusted in Jesus Christ to die in our place on the cross then we will be allowed into Heaven. Otherwise, regardless of your intent, you will be sent to Hell to pay for your own sins.
As far as asking for evidence, I need no "evidence" that God exists. I was only asking for Biblical proof that God approves of polygamy - which is a valid question and does not in any way limit God.
