Had a long meeting with the Oracle consultant assigned to create the database.
He indicated that we'd have to use ODBC which was a big concern to us due to potential bottlenecks. But he implied the same that you just stated that even with ODBC, as long as everything is set up right, we should be fine. After todays meeting, we are least moving forward and designing the classes necessary to provide us seemless access to either VFP or Oracle data.
