I changed the code in my .EXE to use the included .frx and then browse normal. I went to the last record and the TAG field is empty, my code is not here. This report runs fine if I print or preview from within my .EXE which tells me the compiled code exists somewhere, otherwise no tables would be opened since all my use table code is contained in the event, not in the visual DE.

Attempting to do any dynamic manipulation of the report at run time will never work if I can't access the source code in the DE events/methods as is required by FRX2Any or, I suspect, a lot of other solutions.

Surely someone out there has run into this problem and discovered a simple work around/fix?????

Just to reiterate, all my reports use Private Data Sessions and use code in the INIT and BeforeOpenTables events to set the data environment rather than using the visual DE. When including the report in the compiled .EXE it appears that the human readable event code (which is stored in the TAG field of the last record of the .FRX), disappears. This code, compiled or otherwise, must still exist somewhere because the report prints and previews fine.
