Those were good examples. I am trying to make a number animated scrolling meter. For example: the Number 50323.01. When the number changes to 50323.02 I would like for the 2 to scroll from bottom to top over place of the 1. Also have the 1 scroll off the screen to the top. I would do this with bitblt by copy only the area of the number(or graphic) that need to be shown from my source graphic to the destination graphic.

So, my question would be how do i copy an area of a source graphic place it into my destination area? Right now I can copy an entire graphic but not a smaller area within that graphic.

Thanks
Tim
