>My post does not indicate what I do or do not believe - it is not under review as I have not expressed any.

Maybe you should state what you believe then.... I think it takes courage to state what you believe because when you do, you're opening youself up to a lot of "slams". I may not believe in what he says, but I give him credit for stating his belief. It take guts in this "political correct" world.

>My post only address' the comment that Howard made that unless you are Christian you will burn forever in hell. That is indeed a freedom of belief. But it is also an extreme belief which rejects the religous beliefs of about 5 billion other people and does so in an agressive way. That turns a belief into a fanatic one, or one which we may call a fundamentalist belief.

Call it extreme, but that is the theme of Christianity, that Christ died for the sins of the world so that the creation won't have to pay the price of sin. He is a Christian, what else would he believe? As long as people like Howard don't take matters into their own hands, we'll be fine.

>I hope that you will also graciously extend this freedom to believe to the fundamentalists of other religions, some of whom believe that all the infidels (read Christians) need to be helped on their way to the great country club in the sky asap.

Yes. These are the REAL fanatics we're fighting.

>Yeah, freedom is beautifual ain't it :-)

Yes it is.
The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money.
- Alexis de Tocqueville

No man’s life, liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in session.
