It's a good thing you said you "believe that used to be the Bible...", because I think you are likely wrong.

At best the Bible influenced thinking regarding the Constitution and laws, but primarily because that was the religion of those guys.
And I think you'll find that most any other sacred book has similar teachings for morality and such that could be converted into the self-same laws.

The American founding fathers specifically EXCLUDED religion from affairs of the state. How you can say what you said in the face of that shows an unwillingness to use your God-given common sense.

I doubt that I'd want to be your neighbour. You espouse teating your neighbour as yourself. In your case that seems to include "converting" me to your views. That's downright un-neighbourly!
