There is that.
But is saving 50,000 people's lives worth keeping a 5 million oppressed?
(That's not even taking into consideration future generations.)
I think it takes someone to look at the big picture. Even if the neoconservatives are people I would never like to party with or invite to dinner, they seem to be looking at the big picture more clearly than anyone else in a position of power.
