[Follow up to my previous reply...] I just checked this on a machine that has the InstallShield Express VFP 8 Limited Edition installed, and I'm seeing the same behavior you are. I can't believe I never noticed this before, but then again I never used this version for production work so I guess that's why.

Anyway, if this is a deliberate limitation it's not documented in the Help file, and if it's a bug I don't find any reference to it in the InstallShield KB. I realize this information isn't much help but at least you know it's not just your machine.

FWIW the registry view works as expected in the version of InstallShield Express that ships with VFP 9.0.
