I think VFP 6.0 should be given the benefit of the doubt despite the fact that some of us seem not getting what to be expected as enhancements on this release because of the following reasons:
1. Robert Green says that with the release of V6.0, MS will absolutely give VFP a fair attention and focus during VS presentations. To me, I will take the word from him.
2. Buzz words about ADO support, Internet Building Capability, built-in Development Framework with more than 100 fine-tuned and re-usable classes, new revolutionary control properties, VB like editor, and much, much more.
3. Some reviews from different industry publications have predicted that VFP can now contend seriously with Delphi, PB, and DEV 2000.
4. VFP 6.0 is now getting much more attention from different book publications. Hentzenworke Corporation is publishing 5 books in 1 specific only for the product (The Essentials of Visual Foxpro 6.0). See
