I got my help files back by uninstalling through the windows add\remove programs instead of uninstalling by the /xx switches. Nevertheless I lost my F1 shortcut for the main desktop windows help. We were missing one .dll too, not the xml, but the WIKI link for the runtimes that you provide me was of great help.
