But just because the Bible talks about these thing doesn't mean God approves/advocate of these things, does it?
I read it as saying that God can even use a bad situation and turn it into good. Every character in the Bible has flaws, as all humans do. But God can even use most wicked man for His good.
Isn't that one of the message we should be learning from all the Biblical stories?
