>>I'm getting used to Explorer now, but I'm still grumbling about the lack of a dialog box as File Manager has, and there's no way of knowing whether you're moving or copying without memorizing key functions. This is contrary to the movement toward all-mouse functionality. There should really be a 'Move' on the menu.

Yes, I know, but most of the users here are used to the dialog box for some actions like Move, Copy, Rename, etc. We've had several problems now with people clicking and dragging a Move when they really meant to Copy. I think MS should have retained the dialog. Plus having to move out to DOS to do mass Renames, etc., is a step backward from File Manager...

You're right, I just tried it in DOS. But then back to my argument as to why didn't MS retain the dialog if there was no good technical reason for not doing so? And how about the ability to open more than 1 window in Explorer, while I'm at it?

I'm usually (I think) a state-of-the-art guy, and most users here (including myself) are very happy with Win 95, but are not happy with the Explorer.

There, now I feel better having purged some gripes...(I know, there are worse problems on the planet!)
