Lots of people believe in lots of things that aren't true. I'm not saying you should take the number of Christians as proof by itself. I mentioned it in conjunction with other indirect "evidences."

Add this to what I said - eleven Apostles died for their belief in Jesus. Hours before Jesus' death, they denied Him and/or dissociated themselves from Him completely. In the days the followed, they became eyewitnesses to His resurrection. In the years that followed they were persecuted, tortured, and died martyr's deaths. Why would they put themselves through this if they knew it all was a hoax? They wouldn't.

I think you just have some issues with certain parts of it and feel a need to discredit it.
