You missed the point. They saw and interacted with a RESURRECTED man, after seeing him be die on the cross. They were not acting on hearsay, circular reasoning, or whatever you want to call it.

No cult leader you can name has done anything compared to what Jesus did. Many people have died for a lie. The Apostles would have KNOWINGLY suffered and died for a lie. Big difference.
