>I have a small issue with a grid that is not keeping up. Depending on what code the information is entered as the entry may need to go to the top of the grid and stay there. I can get it to stay there with an index but when a new entry is made with a higher priority the underlying table will resort the order but the grid will not reflect the changes and keep you in the current record.

Not sure I follow your second sentence. Stating the obvious but dod you do a grid.refresh after you've added new data?
