Checking my DBC into Visual SourceSafe causing problems

I'm setting up a new database container. So far it has no tables, 2 local views based on free tables and 1 stored procedure.

I checked it into Visual SourceSafe last night and this morning checked it back out. Now when I click on Stored Procedures (from the Project Manager), then Modify I get the message "The database item you selected has been modified or deleted. Do you want to refresh the project now? Y/N". It doesn't matter how I answer the question, the message continues to appear each time I try to Modify.

I can access the local views with no problem and in fact if I modify the database itself and then right-click in the database designer I can get to the stored procedures with no message of any kind.

It seems that VSS has altered my DBC in some unknown way. Any ideas on what's going on and/or how to fix it?

TIA
