I use XFRX when I need output such as Word or PDF to meet a customers requirements.

RedBull definitely helps! I'll have to dedicate a blog entry to it one of these days.

As to the new reporting features, I'm all over them like a bad habit. If you haven't seen it, I would recommend watching the video that Doug Hennig made at the end of last year, here's the link...

...just register for it and they'll send you a link to download it I think. Doug does a pretty good job of outlining the basics and how it works. He's given to a little "looky what I can make it do" showboating at times (who of us isn't?), but the overall content and presentation are pretty good, he takes the time to break it down, and what the heck, it's free. You'll see some stuff he does in there that has already had an impact on Sedna judging from Ken's C9 video portion on report enhancements. And Doug covers the ability to chain listeners which is pretty powerful. Encapsulate related functions in each listener and then put different ones together in a chain to combine their abilities. We should start seeing more community developed report listeners as time goes on which will be super cool and useful. There's already a few posted here and there that I've seen, such as...

>Thanks for the pointer to XSOURCE - now I just need another 100 hours a day (and case of your RedBull) to catch up on what is possible. This reporting architecture is blowing my mind - OUCH!

>Are you taking advantage of the new VFP 9 report architecture yet ... and are you using any 3rd party reporting tools (XFRX, eReports, FRX2ANY, MERE ...) in combination with the VFP 9 report engine?
