No need to be combative about it.

Oddly enough, considering I don't have faith myself, I find faith a very inspiring concept. To believe fervently in that which one cannot prove -- that's pretty cool. My ex and our daughters are Catholic and I have been to my share of masses. I always liked it when the priest said, "Let us celebrate the mystery of faith." A recognition that it isn't provable, but we believe it anyway and that belief gives us strength.
