>I would love to discuss this idea with you because our user group (The Greater Cleveland PC User's Group FoxPro SIG) is planning on giving a similar presentation to Solution Providers. As a matter of fact, we had our monthly meeting on Tuesday and need to come up with ways to "wow" the Solution Providers. One thing we discussed we don't want to do is have a product comparison. I like your positive approach.

>I'm sure you've seen Menacham's what's VFP mean to you question. We all know we love the product. My question is how do we get the message of what a great product VFP is out into the general public? It seems like MS has left it up to us to do the marketing, and I say let's go for it!

>>I can't say that we've had an impact on the use of VFP, but we are planning some things. Later this year, in conjunction with Microsoft, we will give a presentation to Solution Providers. These are people that use mainly VB & Access. I'm approaching it as "How VFP can improve your applications".

I talked to Robert Green about this and he indicated he had some stuff that I could use. He's been out of the office for the past few weeks, so I'm still waiting. You should email him. Also, call your local Microsoft sales office so they can schedule you in.
