>I'd love to do all my development in VFP but several of my clients insist otherwise.

>One, a multinational company with a huge IT budget tells the developers that FPW is what they're using & that's the end of that.

>Another, much smaller client won't spend the money upgrading the hardware so the development continues in FPD.

>Yet another is willing to upgrade the hardware, but their system in FPD work welll and has done without error for 18 months and they don't want the problems of a redevelopment. It isn't broken so don't fix it. So enhancements continue in FPD.

>It's not so much what I want to do that counts. I make recommendations to my clients & they make the final decision. If they choose to ignore my advice then that is their business and I can either say 'find someone else to do the development' or do what they want.
>
>So I have 3 versions of FoxPro on my notebook, FPD 2.6, FPW 2.6 and VFP 5 and I use them all.
