I was experimenting to create an installer for VFP 9.0 runtime, which installs the MTDLL (VFP9T.DLL). I used the documented way to create an installer, using both Visual Studio installer and InstallShield Express for VFP, which is shipped together with VFP 9.0. However, I could never get it working - we always get an error "ClassFactory cannot supply requested class". However, registration of object with the COM package always succeeded, which suggests that VFP 9.0 runtime was installed correctly.

At the same time, we were able to run any objects immediately after installing full version of VFP 9.0 on the server. This suggests that documented way to create VFP 9.0 runtime does not work.

What could the problem?
