>>>>>>However, I know that each one of them either rejected Christ or believed in Him. That choice - and that choice alone is what determines their eternal home. This is something I am 100% comfortable with.
>>>>>
>>>>>This is not entirely the choice of each individual. It is the choice of an entire society, who teaches everyone that whoever doesn't have a particular belief is condemned.

>>>So the remote African tribe, who worshipped the god Zorgo, for instance, were condemned in their ignorance of what had happened in Palestine, unless they were lucky enough to be visited by some Christian missionaries?
>>>
>>>I'm sorry Howard, choice doesn't come into it. How many non-C religious teachings include a section where they're introduced to this heaven-hell-belief in JC concept and given the choice?

>>>Man, such rubbish makes me angry!

>>First, Romans 1 talks about the fact that within every person is the knowledge of God. Some choose to suppress that and have no excuse.

>I'm not disputing we all should have that "quiet voice" telling us what's wrong and what's not (although a child raised to blood-thirsty heathens, knowing no better, to my mind, is excused). But "knowledge of God" may only extend to THEIR religion, albeit Muslim, Buddhist, Shintoist, ... whatever. As I take your slant, only through JC can you be "saved".

>>Second, Missionaries are very important as they do present the gospel to many of these people. To be frank, I really don't know about those who never hear that message. I do, however, trust in God's will for them and that God will do whatever He deems best in these situations. If you really want a better answer than that, I can do some research for you - let me know.

>Well that at least is comforting, to know that God doesn't necessarily act as a prosecuting govt. may "Lack of knowledge of Me and MY Son is no excuse for breaking Our laws", and may give show some lenience towards those who've not heard His word (as put down by Man, mind)

I'm not saying that - just saying I'm not real sure what to say about that. I do know that no one - even those who have never heard - no one who did not trust in Christ will be allowed into Heaven. As I said, if you want a better answer, I can get one for you.

>>Lastly, we all deserve Hell - all of us. Just because God chooses to save a few does not make Him a monster. Read Romans 9. We're the monsters...

>You must know that the UK is not as religious as the US ... by far! I'm afraid I've rarely read the scriptures and there's fat chance of the latest generation doing so. We're ALL doomed!

You, for one do not have to be doomed. You can begin searching the scriptures for yourself. You can seek out a church where the word is preached faithfully, you can exhcange email with me to find the truth. If you choose to do nothing but scoff then - yes - you are doomed...
