>>>I think that is horrendous that people were burned, tortured and killed - because of their beliefs.
>>>
>>>However, I know that each one of them either rejected Christ or believed in Him. That choice - and that choice alone is what determines their eternal home. This is something I am 100% comfortable with.
>>
>>Wait a minute!!! And their murderers, the Christian Nazis went to heaven, if they confessed their sins, blah-blah-blah?
>>If that's the gist of your belief then you're not worth the argument/discussion. All the millions of poor people who lived before JC, and never had the benefit of His teachings, went to hell regardless. For that matter, all the BILLIONS of people who STILL don't receive it, i.e. people of other religions, who don't have this "choice", go to hell. What heaven is an exclusive Christain club?
>
>I would doubt that the Nazis were Christians (although I cannot see into their hearts and cannot really know.) They did not exhibit behavior consistant with the Christian beliefs.

Oh but they were - why else did they persecute the Jews? They were all babtised, some even wearing iron crosses. As for practising Christians - that's a different matter.

>The millions who lived before Jesus had the testimony of the many OT believers who professed a belief in the coming Messiah (Jesus.) Those who believed in that promise are in Heaven today.

But the millions in darkest Africa, the first mongoloids to cross the Berring Straights, the tribes of the Russian Steppes ... why even as far back as the Cro Magnon and Neanderthal - they never got that word! Were they all doomed to burn in hell cos the word hadn't reached them yet?
>
>Yes, Heaven is an exclusive Christian place. Only those who place their trust in the work of Christ will be there. Other religions who refuse to accept Christ will not be there.

Well you can keep it then! I'm taking my chances with the Spiritualist idea. Besides, whatever you place your belief in - it's down to the words of this one man!

- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
