Hi Stephen,

I usually have the same problem.
I've worked around with this procedure (not mean that is the correct):

- I use a ODBC that has the default database defined to the database i want;
- At Crystal Reports, i clean all the references to a certain database:

Crystal Reports 8.5
-------------------
- At "Define Location" menu, remove the of your database and leave only the name of the table (for all tables of the report).

Crystal Reports 9 and 10
------------------------
- At "Set Datasource Location" menu, write the name of the table at the option "Overriden Qualified Table Name" (for all tables of the report).
- At the conection, apply FALSE to option "Use DSN Default Properties".

Using this way, i'm using reports made at my database that works at any database.

Hope it helps.

Best regards,

Ricardo Almeida
