Mike, the context is somebody's earlier comment:

This is far from universal Christian doctrine... but I was responding to the suggestion that this is despicable. Why? Everywhere in the world we accept and expect membership rules and limitations on access, why is it so wrong for a Heaven that is reserved for those who are members? ;-)
