Barcode is just a special font. Such as the 3of9.ttf. Nothing magical about barcodes. Just figure out which barcode fonts your barcode softwware supports and add a field to your report and set the font to the barcode font. Also, barcode wands and other types of readers almost always read just like a keyboard. So when the user reads a barcode it is just as if they typed in whatever the barcode signifies... |||| |||| |||| | becomes ABCD-00123-04567. I hope I've given you the general idea... developers usually find it surprising that there isn't more magic in the whole thing.
