A fairly basic car (esspecially in american terms), but it runs from 0 - 100 in just about 10 seconds, it is faster than most Gas run cars. Except if you really want to have the fastest cars, a Turbo Diesel can be quite fast too..

>Walter,

Yes, true. Mine wasn't turbo. In fact, mine was a 1986 Golf, and I got rid of it this year. It had 475,000 km on it (almost 300,000 miles). The engine would have been happy to run forever, but the body was starting to disintegrate around me. I liked that car a lot. The biggest problem with that old a diesel, of course was waking up all the neighbous when I left for work in the morning.
