In addition to Hilmar's comment on READ EVENTS, you probably meant to put SCREEN = OFF in your config.fpw, not system = off, right?

>I have written my first Visual foxpro Program using forms. I created a folder and placed the exe file, all database containers, tables, index files, VFP7r.dll, VFP7renu.dll, MSVCR70.dll and a config.fpw containing system=off. I deleted all other fonfig.fpw files off my pc. When I click on the exe file in the folder, it just blinks. The program does not come up. When I check the task manager, the application is running.
