So, in the case of science, we can't say we're having a belief - no leap of faith required. We prove, disprove, or work on proving. Ergo, "I believe in science" is not a faith; it's more a matter of trust that it will eventually solve the problems that we care about.

And the nice thing about science is that it works just the same if you don't believe in it.
