I like that, Tracy.

Maybe you missed your calling!

>There is only a problem if you accept that there is only one heaven. Maybe Jesus' statement 'In my Father's house are many mansions' is an allusion to many heavens. What if there are many heavens and each religion leads its souls to a different place? Given the propensity for those of differing religions to argue, it is probably better if God created a place for everyone and those places were not the same. Perhaps all Christians go to the same heaven as Jesus but the other religions have their own heaven. Since the Bible is written by men (inspired by God) and men are fallible, who knows if they got it right or not? Afterall, it is written in the scriptures that it is not man's thoughts but God's breathing while men were borne by the Holy Spirit. The only source to base that on is the scriptures and those interpretating the scriptures.

>>>Wait a minute!!! And their murderers, the Christian Nazis went to heaven, if they confessed their sins, blah-blah-blah?
>>>If that's the gist of your belief then you're not worth the argument/discussion. All the millions of poor people who lived before JC, and never had the benefit of His teachings, went to hell regardless. For that matter, all the BILLIONS of people who STILL don't receive it, i.e. people of other religions, who don't have this "choice", go to hell. What heaven is an exclusive Christain club?
>>
>>I would doubt that the Nazis were Christians (although I cannot see into their hearts and cannot really know.) They did not exhibit behavior consistant with the Christian beliefs.
>>
>>The millions who lived before Jesus had the testimony of the many OT believers who professed a belief in the coming Messiah (Jesus.) Those who believed in that promise are in Heaven today.
>>
>>Yes, Heaven is an exclusive Christian place. Only those who place their trust in the work of Christ will be there. Other religions who refuse to accept Christ will not be there.
