>So, it wouldn't make sense, yet you don't see that as faith? Based on the way this discussion has gone, I don't think you will, and I think we've beat this horse to death.

As I said, science has nothing to do with faith. It needs proof, and repeateble, independently confirmed observations.

>>>No.

>I think I understand the scientist's viewpoint, but I'll add that to my reading list. FWIW, I followed the link on your website to The Age of Reason documents. I read the first entirely and scanned thru most of the second and found them to be fascinating viewpoints (no, they haven't changed my faith). I plan to go back an reread in more depth when I have more time. I think God's existence will ultimately stand up to any challenge.

They are not intended to change your faith in the least. They are intended to understand The Age of Reason and help you make your own decisions. I find most devout Christians I talk to, have never read anything outside of the Bible so they have a very one-sided point of view. They talk about Creationism vs. Evolution. I ask them have you read the Bible? Yes. Have you read Darwin, or Dawkins, or Gould, or any of the many other authors on the subject. The answer is almost always no. I don't believe these people can give an informed opinion when they are illiterate in the subject and the opposing point of view.
