Can anyone recommend a good book or other reference material that gives examples of best practices in VB.NET? I am pretty much self taught, and trying to move from a beginner to intermediate skill level, but it would be nice to find something that gives assurance that I am not only doing things to get them done, but doing them with some method behind the madness.

Thanks to everyone who has answered my newbie/confusing/trivial questions.
