>>>>>>>>

>>>>>>>Ah, yes. Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. Members of what I always used to refer to as the 'Baying at the moon school of singing'. Someone else here calls it 'Tarzan singing'. Unfortunately, it seems to have really caught on.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>Witney Houston - you're right. She builds up until it's all one note and your ear-drums get itchy!
>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>No, my music is jazz (although I do listen to classical from time to time). If you really want to see me happy, just give me some of the great old music from the 1920's and 30's. For my money, real music ended in about 1942. I have to point out that this stuff is before my time, but I love it. Tune in on your browser to WFUV.org on Sunday nights from 8:00 to 11:00 to hear Rich Conaty's 'Big Broadcast' (wonderful show) or Jazz.fm Monday nights 9:00 to 11:00 or Sunday morning 7:00 to 9:00 for Jeff Healey's 'My Kinda Jazz' - all times Eastern standard time. That will give you a real glimpse into what I call heaven.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>Hey! I wanted your hell - not your heaven! :-)
>>>>>
>>>>>Whoops! Sorry about that. I guess if I have a private Hell, it's having slices of my life stolen from me. For example, I recently had to go to my niece's wedding. Not that I don't like my niece, but, really, would she be any less married if I hadn't personally had to spend hours in a church waiting, then watching, then having to have family pictures taken and then more waiting around? My mother pressured me, and now, as I explained to her, she owes me big time.

>>>>>Don't even get me started about brussel sprouts. Who ever said God doesn't have a sense of humour?
>>>>
>>>>Stange, like asparagus, if brussel sprouts are cooks properly they are very good. But if they are over cooked, or worst, canned, they are very bad.
>>>
>>>You forgot to mention that they are dishonest. They sit there trying to make a newbie think they are just cute little cabbages. Oohh... look at the little cabbages! HAH! If there is anything I can't stand it's a mendacious vegetable.
>>
>>Now you had to go and bring up Cabbages.

>>A cabbage is lettice without any flavor. And Coleslew. I can't stand colestew.

>Ok, but can you repair a hole in your shoe with lettuce?
