I was having a similar problem and was looking for a possible solution when I saw your message. After better than 2 hrs of troubleshooting my partner and I came up with a cause and a solution. It seems that the comboboxes are similar to grids in that, if you are using the cursor as a recourdsource and then subsequently reissue the "select ..." statement at some point later, the combobox loses the link to the data. To pervent this, we cleared the combobox's recordsource before we issue the query, then reassigned the recordsource afterwards.
