It doesn't seem like a big deal, but I'd have to think harder than I want to about it before I was sure. This is true of most of Fabio's findings - to me. But I agree in principle that things should work sensibly, consistently, and as specified, without rationalizations and excuses for bugs and design flaws. I doubt that Fabio is just looking for trouble - he's running into it because of the way he does things. I guess in this particular case it's a big deal to him, or perhaps he's frustrated by the frequency of problems he encounters. I agree with you that the emphasis on this particular problem seems excessive, but Fabio deserves extra slack for his colorful language. After all, the man almost always seems to be right!
