If you have an index that will be active for display order of records, you cannot use the RECNO() function as it returns an incorrect order (gives physical record number). I would suggest that you have a field (not displayed) in the table/cursor is a logical; then use .T. for 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, etc and .F. for 3rd, 6th, etc. and the DynamicBackcolor property.
