Ironically, today I've just seen a flier for a proms they're doing at Battle Abbey (just near Senlac Field), end of August, with talk of getting to sing all those jingoistic songs, like "Rule Britannia". So people will sing "Britons never, never, never shall be slaves..." at the site of where they actually practically WERE MADE SLAVES.
