One thing that surprised me early on here, when I asked how much of an accent do I have, and the guys responded with "no, not an accent... it's more that you interrupt your sentence at impossible places". "That's when I'm... looking for a suitable word." "Oh."

The trouble with "the suitable word" is that most of the time I know the best translation for any idea that I may have in my mind, but then realize that it's only the third meaning of the word I wanted to use.
