When you say, "in Windows", do you mean Windows Explorer? You can change the order files are displayed there. Click on the column heading you want sorted.

>My directory listing (files & directories) is not in alphabetical order when I use commands such as USE ? or MODI COMM ? (etc). This is not the case in Windows (it is alphabetical). May be a setting?
