Hi,
If you have run out of locks, an error msg would have been report at the console.
Also I think this is the setting http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/10025341.htm

BTW two weeks ago I deleted all our articles regarding Novell from our server i.e. we no longer support it, to many problems.
